Support for Grief, Anxiety, and Life Transitions

in Farmington, CT and Across Connecticut

ABOUT JESSICA

I believe healing happens in a space where you feel genuinely seen, heard, and supported—not rushed or judged.

In my work with clients, I often meet people who are carrying more than others realize. On the outside, they may appear to be managing well, but internally they feel overwhelmed, stuck, or emotionally exhausted.

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Grief-Informed Professional, and I specialize in helping adults navigate grief, anxiety, depression, and major life transitions, including pregnancy and postpartum changes.

My approach is compassionate and collaborative. I draw from evidence-based practices such as CBT, DBT-informed skills, and mindfulness to help you better understand your emotions, develop coping strategies, and move toward a life that feels more grounded and manageable.

Therapy with me is not about “fixing” you—it’s about giving you space to process what you’re going through and supporting you as you move forward at your own pace.

You don’t have to navigate this alone.

Even when you’re doing your best to keep going, it can still feel overwhelming, isolating, or exhausting. Therapy can be a space where you don’t have to hold everything together—where you can slow down, be honest about what’s hard, and begin to feel more like yourself again.

HOW I HELP

I provide therapy for adults in Connecticut who are navigating grief, anxiety, depression, and major life transitions. My goal is to offer a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can better understand your emotions, develop coping skills, and move toward a more grounded and meaningful life.

Grief & Loss (Grief Counseling in Connecticut)

Grief can come from many experiences, including the death of a loved one, miscarriage, divorce, or other significant life changes. Grief often affects every part of life and can feel isolating or unpredictable. In therapy, we will work together to help you process your loss, make sense of your emotions, and find a way to move forward while honoring your experience.

Anxiety & Depression

Anxiety and depression can show up in many ways—constant worry, racing thoughts, low mood, lack of motivation, irritability, fatigue, or feeling emotionally stuck. These experiences can make everyday life feel heavy or overwhelming.

In therapy, we will explore what you’re going through with compassion and without judgment. Together, we’ll work on understanding patterns, reducing distressing thoughts and symptoms, and building practical coping strategies to help you feel more balanced, present, and connected to yourself again.

Pregnancy & Postpartum Support (Postpartum Therapist CT)

Pregnancy and the postpartum period can bring significant emotional changes, including anxiety, sadness, overwhelm, and shifts in identity. You don’t have to navigate this transition alone. I provide supportive therapy to help you adjust, process emotions, and feel more confident during this time.

Life Transitions

Major life changes—such as career shifts, caregiving responsibilities, divorce, or starting over—can leave you feeling uncertain or emotionally unsteady. Therapy can help you navigate these transitions with more clarity, support, and self-compassion.

For the moments when life feels heavier than you expected—whether you're grieving a loss, struggling with anxiety, or trying to adjust to a major life change.

You may feel like you're getting through the day, but it takes more energy than anyone realizes. Therapy can be a place where you don’t have to hold it all together.
